Women As Objects #6 Weaving

$6,200.00

Women As Objects #6, 2025 by artist Noelle Sharp.

Part of the ongoing "Women as Objects" series, this work explores the fragmentation and reconstruction of female identity, both literally and metaphorically. Through a meticulous, multi-step process, found photographs are printed, cut, hand-woven, photographed, digitally restructured, and ultimately woven on a Jacquard loom. This transformation challenges the traditional role of textiles, while reflecting the layered ways in which women are seen, shaped, and consumed within cultural and historical frameworks.

Measures 25''W x 37''T.
Framed in a Maple wood floater framed, signature attached to back of weaving.
